A Fresh Perspective
Are you tired of the same old same old? Wedding photography has not changed much in 50 years, while the technology has advanced significantly, the photographic style is still stuck in the past. Don't get me wrong, weddings are about tradition, and you still need to photograph some traditional posed images. I don't think a wedding album would be complete without them. Traditional thinking about what wedding photography should look like misses the boat for many of today's modern couples.
Ask yourself this question: What is the one thing that is missing from the typical "TRADITIONAL" wedding album?
Answer: EMOTION, SPONTANEITY, AND EXCITEMENT!!!
"Photography is such a creative medium, why must we adhere to the old rules?"
At Len Marks photography we are doing everything we can to make our photographic coverage unique and exciting. Here's how we do it.
- Fine art portrait session. This is a lot of fun! Our goal here is to go to a location of your choice and photograph you in a natural way. No gowns and tuxes - just real life. This session is done about 4 months before the affair. The images from this session will go in your album and also be displayed in a unique way at your party.
- Photo Journalism is the backbone of our coverage, a big part of the excitement and spontaneity is captured here. It is usually done in Black and White.
- Contemporary photo styling Fashion magazine quality portraits that reflect the latest trends in fashion photography.
- Use of technology. We are on the leading edge of technology. All of our weddings and other special events are now captured on digital media. This opens up a creative world not possible with old film technology.
- Traditional Photo styling. Weddings are full of tradition, and done properly, there's nothing better than a traditional family portrait or bridal party photo to help round out your "non traditional" album.
- Album design and custom photo finishing. Here is where it all comes together, your album is pre designed in a beautiful storybook format. All of the hours of agonizing over what photos you want for your album is over. You are presented with a written storyboard, all you need to do is either approve or make some changes. It's so simple.
"Photography is an art, and I am truly passionate about my craft. If I can capture the excitement and the passion of the day for my client, then I am truly fulfilled to the highest extent."
