Emotions, real smiles, real laughter, real tears.
Finally there is a style of photography that allows us to capture what the day is all about, real life, real emotions. Since the beginning of photography itself, over 100 years ago, wedding and social event photography has not changed very much. The great masters taught control - and the art of the pose. The thought of creating candid natural photos wasn't even a glimmer in anyone's imagination. It wasn't until the early 90's that the term photojournalism was being used in wedding and social event photography. Today it has become the way weddings or social events should be done. Although the term photojournalism is not unique to any one photographer, the images created are. True photojournalism is about how the photographer sees his ability to get inside your heart and mind and anticipate the moment. Traditional event photography can be very sterile; any number of photographers can create the same image. Photojournalism is unique to the individual; no two people see and feel the same way.
